Jen > A staged gunfight. This kind of thing happens on a regular basis in Deadwood. 10 percent of the town's gambling proceeds go towards restoring the old west image of the town.

Jen > Here is a beautiful restored building in Deadwood.

Jen > Notice the mannekins in the upper windows dressed like prostitutes. Up until the 1980's Deadwood was the kind of town men would go to to find such entertainment. There were back door entrances to almost every building in town.

Jen > This is the spot where Wild Bill Hickock was shot.

Jen > Here is Wild Bill's grave. Rest in Peace.

Jen > The Dead Man's hand: the Aces and 8s Wild Bill was holding when he got shot in the back of the head.

Jen > Calamity Jane's last dying wish was to be buried next to her friend Wild Bill. She liked to start rumors that Wild Bill was her sweetheart, but it wasn't true at all.

Jen > We stopped in the Wisconsin Dells for dinner on our way through town. It's a town full of roller coasters and water parks.
